Rhodes is an excellent place for a short port-visit, as the port itself has many intereresting sites and the beautiful ancient/medieval town of Lindos is within reach with an excursion.

This was a lazy day of walking, shopping and eating for us. We could not have picked a better port to accomplish that. It was BEAUTIFUL!

The old town is a must see and can be walked without too much strain. The harbor area is also doable by foot.
