Booked a private guide on our own who took us to the site of Ephesus, the virgin Mary's House, St John's Basilica and a demonstration of carpet weaving. We packed a lot into a very short day. They should add more time at this port.

Turkey was okay, The historical highlights was a nice tour, very informative. If you are planning on eating on the economy please ensure you ask how much before you sit down, do not accept "good price" as a response as they will rip you off. The food is great but get recommendations from the ship or staff prior to your arrival in Kusadasi.

By far, the best port on our trip! Our tour guide was amazing and we did the Ephesus and Sirince tour. Ephesus was so interesting, but the best part was our trip to Sirince. We had a delicious lunch and then had time to walk around this traditional turkish town. I would love to go back to Turkey as a result of this trip.

We decided to shop the Grand Bizaar. Great shopping for leather, carpets, jewlery, brass and copper goods. The shop owners are extremely aggressive and turned off our companions. Be prepared for it. The food in this town was excellent.
