Review summary

The ship was clean and the rooms were a good size! I was glad we were on the 2nd floor so when the ship was rocking a little more than usual, we didn't feel it as much! There was so much to do on the ship and it was our first cruise.

The only negative about the food was that the 24-hour dining place only served sandwiches, pizza and cookies. I have heard on other ships that there is a full buffet available at all times of night and I would have loved to have gotten a waffle at 2am instead of a slice of pepperoni pizza! :)

Overall, yes. The staff was amazing. However, Guest Services was rarely helpful and on multiple occasions, they didn't know the answer to our question (i.e. what is the earliest we can get pool towels?) or took forever to get us the answer. We also had to ask for a few things 3 or 4 times. The dining staff was the BEST and our waiter made our dining experience great!

Ship Quality

The ship is HUGE! The layout was okay, but we had to keep going up to cross over to the other side because our floor didn't connect to the rear of the ship.

Ports of call

Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey

By far, the best port on our trip! Our tour guide was amazing and we did the Ephesus and Sirince tour. Ephesus was so interesting, but the best part was our trip to Sirince. We had a delicious lunch and then had time to walk around this traditional turkish town. I would love to go back to Turkey as a result of this trip.

The weather was terrible- it was cold and raining and we couldn't see Mt. Etna on our tour of Mt. Etna. So disappointing. However, it wasn't Royal Caribbean's fault! The tour to get a canoli was long and boring.

I don't think there is much to do here. The cruise should look to stop somewhere else instead of Crete. We went to the beach, but it was a huge disappointment.
