Great Cruise

Sail Date: May 22, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

We just got off the Voyager from a 19 day Transatlantic cruise so compared to the Navigator it is in need of some maintenance. The Gym equipment was rusting and some frozen The sauna room with a mess lacking attention Seemed like the Navigator was under staffed compared to the Voyager as the service was much better and the ship was much cleaner overall.

Pros: Royal Caribbean always does a great job.

Cons: Needed more time in Turkey and Had problems with transportation upon Disembarking Rome

Recommends Navigator of the Seas? Yes!

Service and Staff
Need for improvement
Ship Quality
mentioned above
Food and Dining
The food was good but not spectacular.
Cabin / Stateroom
Really enjoyed the Band Latin Express
Souda (Chania), Crete
Very short stay so not much time to do anything.
Messina, Sicily
Went by train to Tamorino a wonderful must see Medieval Village.
Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Went to the ruins with the boat excursion. Preferred EPhesus ruin in Turkey. It would be easy to go on your own. The tour took us in town to go shopping which was too short then to a beautiful water duck which we could of shopped at and spent more time not doing the other shopping location. It is better to plan your own tours.
Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey
Took all day but what a fantastic Ruin to see. Also the shopping is incredible but did not have enough time to have a turkish bath. The people are so friendly. I want to return fo Turkey. It was my favorite!
Don't Miss: The ruin and shopping
