Ephesus is a must see with a guide. Make sure you see the Terrece house. Stay away from the carpet tour unless you are in the market.

Did tour with Cruise excursions-- had Fehmeh as tour guide, who was the BEST TOUR GUIDE OF ALL TIME. Thank you, Fehmeh!

I was here 12 years ago and the port is brand new. I wanted to come back to buy a rug. I didn’t do an excursion so I could spend the day shopping for one. I was almost attacked by salesmen at every store trying to get me to come to their shop. I went in two stores in the port and bought from the second. After I bought, I asked if the salesman would escort me back to the ship because I was afraid of walking back. He did but not without trying to get me to spend more money at his shops. I bought 4 rugs. Hoping they arrive and I didn’t get screwed out if $6000. I heard from others in our group it was terrible outside the port.
