Another poor we did not take any excursions on. We did jump on a 15 passenger tour van which took us around the city. It was educational but I wasn’t a big fan how they just dropped us off at the end. Checking out the castles and overlooking the ocean and the cemeteries was absolutely beautiful. This was a low-key slow interactive type activity at this point but we loved it .

Absolutely loved this port. Easy to find your way around town, loved Umbrella Street and Old San Juan fort as well as the wild iguanas all around

We did a city tour once off the ship. It was $25 each and on a nice air conditioned bus. Took us to many points we would not have been able to walk to. Saw the forts and then got dropped off at the shopping area. Made an easy down hill walk back to "umbrella street" and the ship. Gorgeous city, just too much to see without transportation.

we were supposed to go to St Thomas but they replace that stop with San Juan do to propulsion issues on a lower. We were kind of bummed but San Juan was very nice. We took a tour that we didn't pay for until we walked outside the port. Air-conditioned bus and he was great and stopped at several locations for photo ops. We went to go see San Cristobal Fort but did not see the morrow Fort. the driver told us of a spot to check in old San Juan that sold homemade and pinatas. We love that. In fact after walking the streets and on our way back to the ship we had to stop there one more time for another empanada.

City and island recovering well. We found island hotels very nice with beautiful views. Old Town remains our favorite. Toured the old city and historical parks/forts. Friendly helpful residents pointed us to the right restaurants.

Loved Old San Juan. The architecture is from the same time period as Charleston. Only it's a little bigger and they're doing a better job with their trash. I would definitely go back to Puerto Rico the people were wonderful. So impressed with our tour...Best of San Juan. Our tour guide was a native and incredible.

We arrived the day before departure and they were celebrating "Three Kings Day" and Old San Juan was packed. It was interesting to do a little "People Watching" that night. We walked all over Old San Juan and found it to be very quaint. Still some power lines down and some damage from the Hurricane but overall had a nice time.
