We chose to go to the next island over which was for a Cultural Tour and then you were able to hang out at a private beach. We enjoyed the excursion and was able to see locals making their goods to sell. We also had the opportunity to taste test some bread and peanut butter that they were making. Rum Punch (non-alcoholic was available) was very good!! Please bring some money to tip the locals when you stop to see their demonstrations and do taste tests or take pictures with them. It is just a nice gesture. Be aware that the same items that they sell are also available through other areas you will walk through so do not be afraid to haggle as the prices in these shops are much higher.

Did not do any excursion on Labadee but went to Columbus Cove. Tip...there is a ferry to the cove that is free right at the ship. It is only 1 way though, you'll have to ride the little tram back. Columbus was great with nice sandy beaches, chairs and of course buffet lunch. We went to Adrenaline Beach for a minute and it was full of rocks and the waves were high.

Great place, lots to do. Only shortcoming is that in one area of the market the local vendors are a bit aggressive. Sandy beaches but the water is pretty rocky in most of the areas you swim - - - water shows, highly recommended.

Best BBQ Allure, thank you. Water was just like our Florida water. Grandsons loved the coaster. Drinks were great. Vendors were too pushy, but felt sorry for then

Labadee was much better than we anticipated! It is a beautiful area. I cannot stress enough to bring water shoes. It is very rocky, unless you go to the very end of the beach. Lunch was provided by the cruise line. There isn’t much shade so if you want a nice shady spot, get there early.

High hopes that were quickly let down. We figured it was a tourist trap area, but didn't realize how much. We had read the beach was rocky and sharp, so we wore adequate beach shoes. Can't emphasize beach shoes enough. The Mrs. wanted to buy from the locals, so we bypassed the brick building and were drug into the village by a "vulture" who promised to show us around. He took us straight to his booth and began putting bracelets, hats, souvenirs in my wife's hands. Went so far as to start placing items on her like necklaces and such. She was able to ward off most items, but when she went to pay, the other vultures came running. "Mrs. you so nice, such pretty. You now buy from me." I could see the anxiety kicking in, so I grabbed her and we left. She did want to contribute to the locals, but not anymore after that. There appeared to be sign of Royal Caribbean employees regulating or protecting the tourists in the market. The locals seem to have picked up on this and are super aggressive. Stick with shopping in the little building before the the village. The lunch and drinks were ok. Nothing more than an extension of the WindJammer. We did enjoy the fact that our drinks package still worked off the boat. The only excursion we took was the Sandbar Island Adult Tour. Took us on a little boat to an even littler sandbar. Tide must have been high. We floated for a couple hours in the water while they brought us drinks. Rum punch, local beer and Bud Light were available. Such a beautiful time, EXCEPT the crew had two girlfriends and a drunk friend on board. The drunk friend started off the tour stumbling around the boat eating a chicken leg in his underwear. His shorts were drying in the sun on the front of the boat. While we were at the sandbar, one crew member had to keep swimming after the drunk friends beer can he threw in the water. On the way back, I was recording with our GoPro when the drunk friend again threw a beer can off the boat. No one seemed to care until they saw my wife wave a finger and then my GoPro. The "Captain" scolded the drunk friend and the crew kept looking at us with worry. We went straight from the excursion back on the ship. Overall, the place was too crowded with not much to do other than spend loads of money on things they want you to do since your trapped on Royal Caribbean's private resort. In future cruises, we have decided to avoid Labadee at all costs. If we have to stop there, we will enjoy a nice, quiet and empty ship instead. There also appeared to be a Coast Guard vessel of some sort cruising the entrance of the port. That was comforting...
