Our 4th time to Grand Turk and we love this island. We always go down to Jack's Shack to see Topher and Calypso (the laberdoodles owned by Jack's Shack).

Walked to the end of the beach to Jacks Shack, less crowded with free chairs. Gorgeous waters and beach. Again, easy to navigate on your own.

The beach onshore near where the ship docked was very nice - no need for a cab or long walk to get there. There were free chairs and palm trees for shade. Restaurants, bars and shops nearby.

I loved this port, literally steps off the pier and you come to a beach with nice snorkeling. I only saw a few fish, but if you head towards where the water turns darker you can see a huge anchor in the water! The kids loved going here too, there were chairs and we rented an umbrella so the baby could take a name in the shade. We also rented a float so we could snorkel for longer without getting tired from swimming.

I like Grand Turk as it is much less built-up and "touristy" than some of the other islands. Others probably dislike it for the same reason, but the museum is worth a visit, the waters are gorgeous and perfect for scuba abd snorkeling and there are lovely beaches withing walking distance of the ship. What more could you want for a day stop?
