Review summary

While researching we saw lots of mixed reviews and I have 100% confidence in my choice of this cruise. Nothing could have been better aside from planning further ahead so we could budget more! You really get the full experience though with the initial included price. The staff makes you feel comfortable and ensures you have an amazing time. The food was FANTASTIC! Both my husband and I are picky eaters and we never went hungry or turned our nose up at quality. I would reccomend this cruise to good friends and family!

Embarkation

Boarded the ship seemlessly. Staterooms available by 1:30. Bags to our room by 4. Be aware of time differences if you planned on going to your room and changing.

Food and Dining

0 complaints. Excellent quality. Never ate at buffet or specialty dining. Highly recommend blue iguana.

Play it Again Piano Bar

5 out of 5

So fun every night with awesome drinks.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools and hot tubs tend to be crowded. If you want a quiet place to relax the chairs on the side of deck 5 get excellent sun with less crowds. Wish there was an adult only pool though.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We had fun every night! Look through the fun times or the hub app and pick at least 1 thing :)! Personal favorites were trivia, the piano bar, and the comedy shows!

Service and Staff

Everyone knew us by day 2. We really felt taken care of.

Ship Quality

The layout was a little confusing as a first time cruiser and ther was some obvious wear in places in our stateroom (cosmetic, nothing major) overall a great ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Size was small. Just big enough for 2 sharing 1 king bed. The bed was super comfy. The shower water didn’t like to stay in our shower much so be aware if you have clothes etc on the floor they will get wet. Lots of storage!,

Ship tip

Get a shared table at breakfast! It’s a great way to meet new people!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

We went to the pool at the port and it was just okay. I’d book an excursion or stay on the boat next time.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

We booked a snorkel excursion through Sunfari tours and it was so much fun! Very reliable and communicative.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

The port my husband loved! We toured the Bacardi factory then hiked up San Juan hill! I’m more of a beach gal but my husband loved the history. Very easy to tour on your own.

Grand Turk Island

Walked to the end of the beach to Jacks Shack, less crowded with free chairs. Gorgeous waters and beach. Again, easy to navigate on your own.

Disembarkation

So quick and painless!
