We enjoyed this port immensely. The beach excursion we took was to a resort which was great, but we did not have even close to the advertised time to enjoy our stay at the resort. Activities and food were included, but there was not sufficient time to enjoy. Plus something needs to be done about the constant barrage of locals wanting vacationers to buy their goods and services. This greatly interrupted our limited time on the beach.

By far the best part of the cruise. We did the Local traditions and flavors tour. Or guide Raphael was amazing. You could tell he lived his job and enjoyed sharing info about his country. I would do this tour again without hesitation. Amazing. My only small complaint is that our excursion was very early so couldn't really explore the port in the morning. When we got back around 130 the place to get your passport stamped was already closed. Why would they not be open when people are returning from excursions? Makes no sense.

Due to the warnings about the island we cancelled all our excursions. But we had a great time at the pool, zipline, and chairs ide food service. The small shopping port had crafts and retail stores. It was a very nice day.

Dominican Republic was a tourist trap. The cruise lines made the village for us to shop. My husband wanted to buy a book or magazine. There was none on the ship nor in the DR "town". Do an excursion if you go there. The "town" isn't worth it!!!! They want you to spend your time in the casino!

We didn’t have anything scheduled during our time in Amber Cove⚓️ We enjoyed the Port area and engaging with the Locals⚓️ Lunch was amazing and the island 🏝 VIBE was NICE⚓️ To make our visit even more memorable we did the fish 🐟 pedicure and it was AMAZING⚓️⚓️⚓️

We took the Cabarete Beach excursion. Geraldo was our tour guide, he was great. Taught a lot about the history of area and industry, education and living on island. Only complaint was while on beach barefoot, I found a used syringe (no needle) but still put on shoes immediately.

We did ATV excursion not through carnival.. I liked that groups were smaller we were the only ones who booked this so it was our private tour absolutely loved it ... tour guide and his employees were great .. we got to see more because of small group and the paparazzi took tons of pictures and video .. everything is put on a flash drive very reasonable price

Wonderful shore excursion (Lifestyle VIP Beach). Drinks and buffet included and actual sun bed not just a lounge. We love it
