Review summary

We had some trouble deciding on whether to cancel excursions for several ports. We did cancel , but it by no means ruined our cruise. We had the best time, and counted it a blessing to travel. I would highly recommend this cruise

We usually ate at the buffet. Some of family went to the MDR and said it was wonderful. We have never had bad food. The ONLY thing I can think of that could be improved is the bacon. Needs to be crisper!

Kids love the pools. We enjoyed the crafts provided by Michael's. Fun times.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

We were there during the riots. We had one less hour due to the authorities requiring is to leave. We went to the fort and took the tour It was fascinating. Other than that we didn't see much to do or shop for. Some have said it was their favorite port, but not for us.

Grand Turk Island

We swam at the free beach. Got a shelter for my husband (doesn't swim, has trouble walking.) We had a great time there. Beach is rocky at first, but past there is fine. Went to Margaritaville for lunch. Delicious and fast service even though they were packed.

Went to Magens Bay beach. We discussed hiding out and not going back to the ship. It was really enjoyable.

Due to the warnings about the island we cancelled all our excursions. But we had a great time at the pool, zipline, and chairs ide food service. The small shopping port had crafts and retail stores. It was a very nice day.

We were on the Conquest in March. You missed a lot of delicious food by not going to the MDR. We went everyday for breakfast and every night for dinners. You could have gotten your bacon crispier in the dining room just by asking when you ordered. Hope you got to see Deck 5, the Sunflower Atrium. Really beautiful and the bar there also. Our ports were fantastic. Loved them all. Didn’t care for the game shows or regular shows but we still had a great time. Would definitely go on the Conquest again.
