Balcony was great and so were the views when we reached ports. Only negative could be in the middle of the night you could hear the ding of the elevator. Bring a little noise machine or ear plugs if you are very sensitive. Very happy with the room.
Ship tip
Bring cheap metal hangers that you can leave behind in the room. People did that in our room and it really helped. Could have used more.
Loved the reef and rays excursion. Super fun. Only sad thing was when we got to the beach by the boat all the umbrellas were taken. Probably our favorite port.
There were protests so we had an hour less at port. Did the rainforest/beach tour. Rainforest was nice. Hike was super hot. So the guide was very nice but gave us 20 minutes at the beach. Kept trying to offer us drinks at a restaurant. We paid for the beach and we wanted it after the heat of the hike. Beach not very pretty but good to cool down.
Loved Magens Bay and skyride. Rent chairs and umbrella at beach then go to the right down the beach. Must less crowded. Water and beach were just like I remembered it. Beautiful. Skyride was good. Nice pictures to take on top. Little stalls to get souvenirs.
I was worried after news reports but Amber Cove is Carnivals place. Great shops and very clean. We did Ocean World Sharks, Sea Lions, and Dolphins. Fabulous fun. You can bring your own snorkel stuff if you want. Food was good. Full day so had to walk fast to shop a little. Also walk fast to the photo shop to get the pictures they take of you. really nice pictures but the line can get long. I was first so we got an earlier shuttle back to Amber cove.
