Never been to this port before. Looking forward to it. I think my grandchildren will love it too. I anticipate that my sons will enjoy the zip lining.

Great port. We took the excursion Puerta Plata Walking Tour With Lunch. It was a really interesting tour of the old Colonial city. Lunch was an interesting local pork stew with rice. It is always nice to taste delicious foods from other places. Carlos - AKA Pappi - was a great guide. Glad we booked this one!

Stayed in the port at the pool and bar. It was nice great staff. Get there early though if you want good chairs by the pool

We only went on an excursion at this port so we really didn’t explore much. LOVED the excursion. We did enjoy their little market...shopped and bought!

Plan to use the resort for the day (out of the ship). Was not aware and did not plan well for that. Price of alcohol better at this port. Buy here if you plan to. Glad I did.

8/10 nice. We did the waterfalls of Damajagua as an excursion. IT WAS AWESOME! The hike up was grueling, but when you reach the waterfalls, be prepared for the time of your life.

Another beautiful stop! Definitely recommend going to Ocean World and swimming with the dolphins. We all had the best time with the dolphins, it was a trip to remember!

I took the Outback excursion-it was excellent. I love that they fed us and had drinks right through the tour. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgable of the island customs, etc. Visiting the family plantation and getting to experience the life of the locals was eye opening. The only draw back to this trip was the visit to the beach. The Atlantic was roaring, as usual, making it hard to get a good swim.

Rented a private cabana poolside with two other couples. Had a blast.

Small shopping area but beautiful scenery. Merchants were very nice and polite. Long walk to the end of the pier but bicycle "buggies" were available. At first we thought they were for hire but later learned they were provided complementarily. This should be made known before disembarking the ship.
