Got our beach day in Jamaica that we didn’t do on Honduras. We went to Bamboo Beach while not a over the top beach we finally got some sun and got get wet in the ocean.

Sorry, I didn't like this place very much. I would have been happy bypassing this island to cut the trip a day shorter, thank you very much. From the second that you leave the pier to go exploring, you are deluged by about 100 taxi drivers in a row trying to get you into their cab (using VERY high pressure tactics). Just put blinders on and look straight ahead with your hands in your pockets. I didn't go any further than to the enclosed shopping areas that were near the dock. It wasn't long before I went back to the ship.

I had an injury and wasn't able to do the good excursions here. Food was not good in the restaurant we went to.

We did the zip line, Bob sled, air lift excursion. It was fun! The workers were great, and the place was really clean. It says the excursion takes 4 hours, and it only took about 1 so we had time to do Dunn's River Falls. The falls are really neat, but BEWARE of the shop keepers there. They are INCREDIBLY persistent, and even rude. They left us with a bad imression of Jamaica.

Very pushy sales people at the port, and a super tiny port area. We did not travel out of the barbed wire fence off area on our own, but opted for an excursion. Absolutely stunning country though. We got a lot of great scenic pic.
