Typical Jamaica did the horseback riding and had a wonderful time but you get hounded at the port And every other place you go in Jamaica it is to be expected but it is a beautiful country

Regardless of the reviews of this port, I went with an open mind. I have traveled extensively in my life and have never felt uneasy or unsafe. The moment we passed through the gates we were accosted with a lot of pressure... to purchase, look, take a trip... I continued to walk and look at the shopping stalls, while looking at a stall, a man put some carved heads in my hands. He was fast talking and I had no place to set them down. When I told him I was not interested he said I must purchase what I touched. I told him I did not want them. He then demanded that I purchase them. I was really feeling uneasy, and just wanted to get away from him. I gave him money ($80.... not the $175 he wanted, told him it’s all I had) and immediately went back to the ship. I will probably never go back. Worst place I have ever visited.

We had an excellent time in Ochoe Rios. I recommend doing the Dunn Falls excursion. We were able to sample Jamaican rum at one of the stops on the excursion and really enjoyed that. The restaurant as the last stop was perfect. Yardie Tours was great for our excursion.

We went to Margaritaville beach because we were told it was free by the ship staff, however they tried to charge us, kept giving us different prices, it was a little dirty (Trash in the ocean and on the beach) and the people around to port area are rude and pushy. I wouldn't go back to Jamaica.
