Very surprised! I actually love the shopping center. I am not a fan of Jamaica, would have liked to go to Key West more so, but at least it was clean, new and not over-pressure from the Merchants. It is a nice stop for Celebrity and from what some of the shop owners had told me they would HIGHLY value Celebrity making this a destination stop.

There are NO beaches near by to lounge at. You have to PAY for a sketchy shuttle bus to take you to a near by beach, but the town itself is in a high poverty area. I did not feel safe outside of the cruise compound and wouldn't go back to Falmouth. The vendors are very pushy and not friendly.

We did the jungle tubing booked through the cruise ship. Be prepared, you half to walk about 1/2 mile with your tube to start. they did help my 74 and 75 yr old parents with their tubes though. The tubing it’s self was a blast. Even my parents enjoyed it. Lunch afterwards - so so. Cash bar. The beach the took us to at the end with lunch was nothing special. I’d do this again. The port area looked nice. There is a margaritaville bar/restaurant right at the edge of the port that has a swim up bar and pool chairs. This may be my version of an excursion next time.

Did the falls and beach club. Our guide was fabulous. Climbing the falls was a blast. Unfortunately, once we got there I asked the amount of time we would likely be there. Was told it depends but likely 45-60. We were there for more like 2.5 hours bc of the line. Beach club was great and fun snorkeling.

We did the Reggae Hill excursion. Our tour guide was funny, kind and very knowledgeable. She took really good care of us. Unfortunately, it was very hot and there was not a lot of shade. We were very thirsty and not offered too many drinks other than Rum. My son was able to play in the beautiful river but he did not have very much to do and had to wait sometime to get anything to drink. There were 2 dancers that were really fun to watch but I would not do this excursion again.
