Review summary

Had a great time. There are just too many people in the space for the money paid.

Embarkation

Good. Line was long, but the staff was organized.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Windjammer was good. Slow service at American icon. Got the soda package, and the machines were almost always out of ice and sometimes drink.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Really liked fitness center. Pools were too busy to really enjoy. Same with other activities, so my kids skipped them. They liked the teen room though.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Hard to get tickets. Good once in.

Cabin / Stateroom

Pretty good. Small for 3, but that’s to be expected. There was trash from prior guests in the room. Well taken care of after that.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
The labradee historical traditions tour was fabulous and fairly priced. Beach was nice. Lunch line took at least 45 min to get through.

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Did the falls and beach club. Our guide was fabulous. Climbing the falls was a blast. Unfortunately, once we got there I asked the amount of time we would likely be there. Was told it depends but likely 45-60. We were there for more like 2.5 hours bc of the line. Beach club was great and fun snorkeling.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Favorite by far. We booked independently, and I’m glad. Took cab to chakanaab for $12. Hit the beautiful beach before it got busy. Snorkeling was amazing in the morning. Did sea lion experience. It was FABULOUS. Enjoyed poking around shops in Cozumel.

Disembarkation

Very good. Worth tipping baggage porter well to get through line faster.

Try going on an off time. Spring break and summers tend to have many triple and quadruple occupancy rooms—and this isn’t just RC, it’s all cruise ships.

Actually we went on it in October last year and it was wonderful. We did book our show ticket before we got on ship

Big ship= lots of people. What did you expect? A little more research prior to your cruise would’ve help you get ready and you would’ve found out that you need to book the shows about 90 days prior to cruise.

Spring break is not a great time for a cruise- especially on an oasis class ship geared to kids/families
