We've been to Jamaica before, but this was our first time to the Chukka Site (Zipline & Tubbing adventure). What they don't tell you on the info, is that you is that it's a resort with Pool, waterfall, water slide as well ... all included in your package. It was only 20 minutes from port, and after we got there, it was a total one stop playground!

We love the proximity of the shopping area to the ship. One of the few places my husband can leave the ship without exhausting himself. The area is clean, welcoming, and easy to navigate without merchant hassles.

Jamaica was my favorite Port I absolutely loved it! We went to Dunn's River Falls and The Grotto caves. The Falls are a must do it was incredible! Because you go in a group and you help each other along the climb get to know each other a little bit and you find you run into each other a lot on the ship. I did not feel pressured from the guys that helped us up but they were so awesome I wanted to give them a tip. You can purchase a video at the end that is $40. The video shows everyone in your group not just your individual group. But since you get to know these people fizik lime and on the ship it's fun to see their expressions as well on the video. I found the video was worth it. Still shots a great but having an actual video showing you climbing the falls was awesome. The caves we're incredible as well. Our guide made it very interesting engaged everyone. Unlike in the states we have to stay on a set path he was like you want to explore go ahead climb through the rocks look at everything. The shops in Jamaica we're great as well. I did not feel pressured to buy anything they might have followed you around a little bit and asked if they could help you with anything but they didn't pressure you to buy so I ended up buying a lot. Can't wait to go back to this port again.

Felt safe within the shopping area however attempted to venture outside the gates and it was scarry. You should warn people not to go outside the area unless on a tour. Even then we had a couple go outside on a tour and they said it was not the best ride they had. I will try to pick cruises that will avoid this port, otherwise I would just stay on the ship.

I really liked that RC has their own port here. Way better than Montego Bay's port (which basically has nothing), and it was enclosed and safe. We probably would have stayed on the boat otherwise. There is a Margaritaville here too! Fun place with pool, swim up bar, and no entrance fee (just spend money).

We loved it here. Took the Green Grotto caves tour. We shopped the local crafts and got some really great, authentic Jamaican souvenirs. The people we encountered were very friendly and great guides.

Did not really enjoy our time in Jamaica. The tour was less than stellar, as it took us to a church, which asked for donations, then to a school, that asked for donations, then finally to a small mountain stop that gave us lunch ( the best part as it was traditional Jamaican food ) but then asked for donations. All of this over and above the expected ( and requested ) tips for both the driver and tour guide. Was fully disgusted by the time we got back.

Well, within the port area was commercialized. Outside the port areas is very run down. It is a poor island. Bring your self confidence and walk around like you own the place. Marijuana is shoved at you multiple times as you're walking. Venture in groups, do not go alone. I did get a beautiful wood carving from a small market outside the immediate port area different from anything seen anywhere else.

We did not do an excursion, but I was impressed with the port design. All the stores were right at the end of the pier and you could wander around and shop without having to take a taxi to town. It was clean and the merchants were friendly without being overbearing.
