Snorkel/zipline tour was very fun, and the resort where it was located was gorgeous. It was a bit of a rushed tour however.

Must see is Tulum which are Mayan ruins situatuated literally steps from a beautiful warm clear-watered beach. Fascinating. Sort of a journey to get there though since you have to take an approx 25 min boatride then approx 45 min busride to get to Tulum. Defitiely worth it though. Just don't eat any of the local food....I did and regretted it. Tasted great but got sick.

Tourist trap alone the beach but walk back into the mainland a couple of blocks and the island has a really neat culture. All of the locals are friendly and easy going. Your do not feel threatened at all at this destination and they do a goood job for those who just want to hang at senor frogs as well.

take a boat ride to the mainland to playa de carmen, beautiful there and go on the mayan cavern and beach tour, wonderful, but it will exhaust you......great tour guides.

Cozumel was very established and clean for as far as I could see. There was plenty of opportunity to shop and I felt more comfortable using my credit card there as opposed to Progresso. The water was pretty.

The pier/port is fairly nice. It rained that day so we didn’t do to much there. We had drinks and an appetizer at Señor Frogs.
