We did the Tulum Ruins back in 2011 and loved it so much went back for my Honeymoon. The views are amazing and would still do it again, and will one day with my child.

We did the Discovery Mexico tour with Cesar. It was a lot of fun with him. He is very proud of his Mayan heritage and Christian faith. How he explained things in the way that his people celebrate the dead was preparing us for what was headed our way later that afternoon. We learned about Chocolate making at the Factory, went to the Discovery Mexico Museum and a shopping area that has a Mayan Temple and a Chapel next to each other. We had about an hour to shop before heading back to our ship where we had to call our cat sitter and found out that our precious Big Boy had passed away earlier that morning. We loved Cozumel and are so ready to go back.

Always crowded. Too many ships. Streets are dirty and sewage smell all over. Bar with swing seats is fun. But to many vendors trying to get your money.

Did not like this port. Shops are pushy. Not much else there unless you are planning to eat and find a drink. Since we had the unlimited drink package on the ship it did not make since to get off for a drink. There is a small beach access where you can get in and swim or snorkel if you have your own gear. There was not a good place to put our bags down since we had our passports and some cash with us. You can leave the shops and get a taxi to a beach for $5/person each way. We were given a long day here till 7pm so wish we had booked a trip.
