Cozumel was very established and clean for as far as I could see. There was plenty of opportunity to shop and I felt more comfortable using my credit card there as opposed to Progresso. The water was pretty.

The pier/port is fairly nice. It rained that day so we didn’t do to much there. We had drinks and an appetizer at Señor Frogs.

Cozumel was great, there is so much to do, shopping, excursions, exploring - you'll want to come back again.

Tulum great; stop on bus to shop is a waste of time.

The dolphin push pull or swim, was a bit disappointing. They told us that there was no where to put our cameras, then offered 22 dollar underwater cameras and then 20 dollars a picture. We had already paid 200!!! But being able to see the sea lion show for free helped.

We took the Mayan Jungle Explorer tour which included snorkeling in a "cenote", essentially a cave with water fed from a natural spring. It also had 3 zip line rides, which was a blast. If you are a diver, then the diving here is spectacular as well.
