Always our favorite. Went to Panchos for drinks and appetizer at Puerto Maya pier. Our favorite waitress was not at that one so we took a cab ($8) to the one downtown and saw her there. Always ask for Shirley

The port is like an outdoor mall. Tons of vendors, all vowing for your attention. Saw someone describe it like running through a gauntlet - facts. Once you clear this, though, there are lots to do at the port. Massages, shopping. I took a cab (all marked in uniforms with badges $20 each way) to Iberostar Resort, as I purchased a day pass (outside of the cruise). 5 stars across the board for this resort. It was spectacular.

Did the deluxe beach and snorkel excursion with carnival....it was a BLAST.. Snorkeling was ok reef was nice boat ride good staff was great .. not a lot of fish did see a stingray...the water slides were so much fun.
