Good port and great beaches just wish you had a express lane to taxis instead of the long walk through the gauntlet of vendors that you have to tell them “No thank you “ a 1000 times.

We did Passion Island with Carnival which we not done before. We boarded the catamaran for about an hour before we got to the beach which we enjoyed very much. It was all inclusive. Food was good and drinks were average . Service was good. It was unusual because ours was the only ship there.

Cozumel improves more every year. There is so much to do here, it can be a vacation destination itself. Our excursion was the Journey through Mexico's Past and Present. It consisted of a guided tour through small scale examples of each significant part of Mexico's history from the clash of the Mayan and Aztec cultures; through invasions by the Dutch, Portugese and Spanish; to the present. This tour encompassed so much in a few hours. I recommend it for everyone, especially Seniors and children. It is most impressive!

We purchased an excursion to Channkaba Park/Resort. Pool was very crowded but food and drinks were good.

We rent a car and ride the whole island, stopping at each beach to look around. It is really magical. So sad we could stay only for a day. This is a place you will be willing to be back for sure.
