You dock outside of town, shopping good. You can taxi to the main downtown more shopping. Senor Frogs there, restaurants more shopping. I think worth the taxi ride.

There were 5 ships anchored off Cozumel when we were there and all were depositing passengers at the same time. Then we had to funnel through a narrow building before they allowed us to walk freely. Very poor planning.

Locals in Cozumel are friendly and we love the local shopping, outside the port area. Plenty of great snorkel sites that are a short $10. taxi ride away!

Beautiful island & such nice people!! Everything is very cheap at the port. Margaritaville is right at the port but doesn’t have the pools/water inflatables anymore. Recommend doing an excursion!

Similar to paradise island. crystal clear waters and friendly locals. Again take US Dollars or ATM's will eat you alive on the fees.

Cabbed it to Paradise Beach which is GREAT! Very clean, for $9.00 you get a wristband for their watersports, which my 12 year old enjoyed. Even my 2 year old went out and jumped on the water trampoline (she was free). Food is a little pricey, but beach is free, so it all evens out

This is a beautiful island. We went snorkeling off the reefs and drove around the whole island. Don't forget the Mayan ruins on the opposite side of the ports.

We've been to Cozumel a few times and we have always enjoy it. We did a dolphin Excursion one time and loved it!!! The other times we just sat on the free beach chairs near the cruise port and relaxed while people watching.
