I love Cozumel. Hubby and I and some new friends we made on the ship went to Mr. Sanchos for the day. Mr. Sanchos is-hands-down-THE BEST PLACE to eat, drink and enjoy the beach!

Usually book Mr Sancho’s which is a perfect place to spend a sunny day but this trip we decided to change it up and try Nachi Cocom. NC only allows a limited number of guest in per day. Right down the beach from Mr. Sancho’s but far enough away that you don’t hear any of the noise. Think Mr S without the spring break attitudes running around. The drinks are better at Mr Sancho’s and the food better at NC. I would go back to either. Both have great qualities

Loved this port. Our excursion should have been cancelled due to poor weather conditions but was not. There were definitely shops unique to the Cozumel culture. My group chose to take a taxi into the town of Cozumel for dinner. The cab driver was wonderful, walked us across the street to the restaurant and told the owner to make sure we were taken care of. We ate at La Choza and the food was amazing! This was the best meal I had the entire cruise. We were treated like royalty. When finished, the owner called us a cab and we went back to port and again had a wonderful cab driver.

I have been to Cozumel one time before and yet again it did not disappoint. Just the view alone is enough to leave one satisfied. The shopping experience was peaceful and not overbearing. We were also able to find some amazing food and drink.

well, we had a deluge of rain, even water from the ocean onto the roads. The Dolphins didn't care so we swam with them. Shopping was excellent and I shopped until I dropped and many were back on the ship due to the rain. Warm rain!

We have visited Cozumel 4 times, and our favorite thing to do is rent a car from Alamo in the port area, and then drive to the other side of the island where it is much less crowded and more beautiful! You have to see the lookout at Coconuts, (beware, lots of steps) and then sit on the beach at Chen Rio. No aggressive sales and amazing view. We love the non-alcoholic pina coladas.

I had visited Cozumel twice before and had planned to revisit PalMar Snorkel Beach Club, a private estate on the Dzul Ha Reef. Taxi service is reached after walking through the extensive shop area of the cruise port, but the price is very reasonable -- 4 of us was only $11. The Beach Club is a real bargain and includes use of the private pool, touring the Butterfly Sanctuary, and using the beach area on the world-famous reef. Day use tickets even include 2 free drinks. The food is excellent – we enjoyed guacamole, cerviche, and chicken enchiladas, all terrific examples of great local food. Best of all is the sweet service offered by the employees – it’s a perfect balance of the staff being humble and grateful for the income we generate, and us being grateful and humbled by the beautiful surroundings and the grace of the local folks.
