We had planned to rent some type of scooter or vehicle while in Cozumel. As soon as we exited the main “port” or court yard, we saw people offering their rental services. We pick Pelicano’s and Cesar was our sales person. We rented a 2011 Jeep. It was a standard 6 speed with 4WD. The Jeep was great and the A/C was a life saver. We drove around the entire island and saw everything. We paid $80 for the Jeep for the whole day, $25 for insurance which was optional and since we didn’t return it with the same amount of gas we left with, we were charged $20. It was totally worth it for us. It was exactly what we wanted to do. No tour guide so we were free to go and see whatever we wanted.

I always enjoy Cozumel. I visited Mr Sanchos beach club. This is a must each time I go. I got a massage that was so relaxing. The food and the drinks are excellent and I believe a great value. It’s $55/person and is all inclusive. It’s a must in my opinion. We go early so we feel that we get our money’s worth and then leave in time to do some shopping.

This was our third time to Cozumel, so we walked a good bit, did a little shopping, ate lunch, etc. However, I would definitely recommend snorkeling, as this is some of the clearest water I have ever seen. I have snorkeled at Cozumel each of my other cruises.

Go to Chankanaab! We brought our own snorkel gear and spent the day at this great location. It was easy for my dad to get in and out b/c of the stairs into the water. Nachos were yummy. Clean restrooms w/showers. Many other activities ava but we just snorkeled.

Gorgeous. Mr Sanchos was a great time. Good food and drinks. Our daughter loved the water obstacles and the massage for me was awesome.
