I absolutely love Cozumel and will go back anytime I get the chance! There is so much to do there and the people there are so welcoming and friendly. We did the catamaran sail and snorkel excursion. It was wonderful! We enjoyed every single minute of it!

been to Cozumel over 5 times and still fall in love with the people and water! I love the fat Tuesday and the Del Sol shops! I usually go to the shops but the beaches are beautiful as well!

Cozumel is always beautiful. We went to Passion Island for our excursion. Had to wait for your group to be called to take the catamaran. It was a 45 min boat ride to the island. 3 block trek in soft sand to the beach. Bathrooms were good but not well maintained & toilets did not flush. Food was good. Drinks were very weak. Beach was breathtaking. Very hot. We tanned in minutes even with sunscreen. My phone said 99 degrees. You spend an hour each getting to & from the excursion but only 3 hours on the island. Miguel was an awesome tour guide. Glad I experienced it, but I probably wouldn’t go back.

You have the same issue with high pressure sales people in Cozumel as in Costa Maya. This trip we did not do an excursion. Last time we did the tequila tasting which was a lot of fun. This time we just walked around town. It was a little less crowded and obnoxious one street back from the main drag. There we happened upon Wet Wendy's (a place a friend had shared with me) where we ordered Margaritas (which were enormous and delicious) and had a fantastic lunch (a chicken poblano cilantro burrito and carne aside tacos). The service was excellent and the food was amazing!

Cozumel was much more overpriced than Costa Maya inside the port. If you wanted to do something like Senor Frog's it's no longer at Port as they are renovating the entire building so now there's a Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville and it's 15 bucks for one drink. However the shops directly outside of the port about a 1-mile taxi ride away called valu-mart or something like that you can get a liter of Bacardi rum for $5, and souvenirs that are 1 to $5
