Apparently, there is only one owner for ALL the jewelry shops. Stay clear of them. Definitely buy some RUM cakes and bring them back with you. AMAZEBALLS!!! Margaritaville is wonderful, and it's close to the ship for when you've had too many shots! They rolled me out on a dolley! I have pics and will upload soon. LOL

Favorite port! Took an excursion to Mr Sanchos which was an all inclusive beautiful beach area with amazing service, awesome food and yummy drinks.

Oh my world..... Mr. Sanchos private beach was EVERYTHING! I'm going back strictly for the excellent service, beautiful view, and poolside bar that kept the liquor flowing seemlessly.

After reading so many great reviews, we went to Mr. Sanchos, and they didn't disappoint us. Food was good, weather was cloudy, so not too hot. Their pina colada was grrreat!!

Did the Save a Sea Turtle excursion through Carnival. First stop was a small roadside shopping area - great to use restroom, souvenir shop, get a cold beverage. Then just up the road to our nest to dig where the babies had hatched the night before. We pulled up 8 live babies, 2 that didn't catch, 4 incubator eggs and over 100 shells. After we dug several feet, our guide was satisfied that the nest was empty and we released the babies into the sea! Next stop was a Mayan recreation village including a traditional dance, songs and food. At the end, their was an optional tequila tasting and gift shop. We then headed back to this port with plenty of time to spare!
