Tulum Ruins are worth the visit if you've never been there. The whole excursion was rushed. Had to run back to the vessel; as it was waiting for us (everyone that visited Tulum). Thankfully we booked the excursion(s) through the ship. Never book them through third-party. You risk the ship leaving you behind!

Our family (10 members) had a fantastic time on the excursion "Mexican Christmas" (not the exact name) which was a tour to a small village on Cozumel. The staff at the tour and at the house that we visited were very warm and friendly. Also, the tour guide (Mike..Miguel?) was very informative. We went into the excursion thinking that it would probably be lame based on the name of the tour, but were surprised by how completely entertaining and fun the tour and activities were.

The excursion we went on was the VIP Luxury Champagne Catamaran Sail and Snorkel. It was awesome! The staff made us feel very safe,but kept us entertained. There were snacks and a light lunch with drinks. For $30 extra we had our underwater pictures emailed to us. We had a great time.

Go to San Gervasio or Tulum. Stay away from Senor Frogs, Pizza Hut and other American stuff you can do at home!
