Wonderful time with family. Enough variety of shows and activities that we could do some as group and some by ourselves. This was my first summer cruise with kids. Can't compare family Carnival experience with old couple on Princess. Different, but each great.

Used Washington dining room most of the time, enjoyed the variety of options and the excellent service. We did try new things, didn't like it all, but that is just our taste. Never went away hungry. Desserts were wonderful! Guy's burgers were great, also the Blue Iguana for the times we needed quick lunch. Used buffet for snacks and treats, lemon meringue cake a wonderful surprise- really yummy. Yes, we ate a lot, enjoyed it all, even enjoyed trying the things we didn't like.

Others in my group had good reports of pool and gym. It all looked like fun but I had a bad knee and just relaxed.

Comedy club was great. Stage shows not so much. Some good musicians thru out ship.

Kids in our group, 12 and 17, were too busy to use kids clubs.

Ships layout like others I've been on. Everything was clean. Americana decor was fun. I don't know why the theme didn't continue into the theater. It felt like it did belong on that ship.
Love Nola. It's our precruise vacation. Tried a cheaper motel in gretna, didn't like it. Next year I will pay more for nicer place. Loved the swamp cruise and WW2 museum.
