Overall the cruise was fun and a great value for the money. I'll be cruising on it again next summer.
Embarkation

Delayed due to weather so I was stuck with angry passengers. I know weather wasn't carnivals fault but we were herded like cattle.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Buffet was okay. Main dining room was good. Malted hazelnut dessert was pretty and delicious!! Guys burgers are overrated. My daughter loved the cheesecake in the coffee shop.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Participated in game show, bingo, lip sync in main atrium, and 70s show. Had lots of fun.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Playlist cast was great. Cruise director Kevin was phenomenal. Georgia was wonderful also.
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
We went to check out the older teen club during the posted club hours three different times and no staff was there and doors were locked. My daughter was unable to use teen club.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Wait staff and room steward were great. Low overall rating is because guest services staff were incredibly rude. They called me a liar about roach that fell on me in the shower. Said carnival doesn't have roaches. Luckily I took pictures. Female staffer barely spoke English so it was difficult communicating. Other staffers in gray jumpsuits were rude also during boarding. They literally turned away and left when I was midsentence trying to ask a question.
Ship Quality

I had no issues with this area.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room 2212. Had cockroach fall on me in shower. Bathroom smelled sour. Convertible couch bed isn't very comfortable.
Ship tip
Be prepared to do lots of walking. Whether you have fun depends on you. Don't be afraid to participate. Try the malted hazelnut dessert. It's delicious and pretty.
Sorry about the roach incident. I have heard that you can have an extremely clean house and end up with a roach because you brought it in with something. Maybe that is what happened, still they shouldn’t have been so rude with you about it.
