The port is good however the old port was much more fun getting off the ship. We were on the Rhum Runner excursion which was terrible. It took us for a boat ride to a beach where we had to rent beach chairs on top of the excursion cost. Rating the Rhum Runner a 1 star port is a 4 star.

The glass bottom boat excursion was nice as you get to see the underwater statues created after the two hurricanes that devastated the island back in 2004.

WE LOVED GRENADA!!! I would really like to go back some day. Its very uninfluenced buy tourism and corporate business. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The landscape is breath taking and the history and culture interesting. They call it the spice island because they grow and export many spices. Make sure to buy some, they make great gifts and practical souvenirs.

Nice beach. Although we felt like the people were ripping us off on the price of goods and there were too many people trying to sell things. The people were very nice and pleasant though.
