Alot of damage left from Erma. Loved the fact that we were in Dutch and then France in the same day.

Here we did the Flavors of St Maarten tour. The ride was a tight squeeze in a air conditioned van. We rode to the Dutch side. We made three stops for three different bites to eat and made one drink. I was surprised that all stops were Jamaican owned. It won't fill you up. We did go by Maho beach and the driver slowed down so we could see the plane coming at us. Tour guide was informative.

Beautiful port, friendly people. We did the Sea Trek Dive and it was awesome! My family wants to do it again on our next cruise.

The island itself was an eye opener for us due to the fact they are still trying to rebuild after hurricane Irma. The devastation was still very evident. We went on a tour of the island and our driver was excellent and very informative. We went through the Dutch and French side.

Beautiful island, well developed. We greatly enjoyed both the Dutch and French side. Rent a car (they're cheap here) and go to Loterie Farm on the Pic du Paradis road. They have a fabulous pool with cabanas, a bar and restaurant, and best of all zip lining for less than half the cost of a port excursion. There's a beginner's course with 11 zips and just as many obstacle lines that we did, and an amazing set of lines that sail you high above the tree tops. Go! Give yourself plenty of time to get back to the boat. The island is tiny but traffic is terrible. Recommend that take the "long" route back to the cruise port - you'll avoid the primary urban areas of both Phillipsburg and Marigot, AND the one main road connecting them.

We did a horseback riding excursion, which was pretty good. We had a air conditioned van ride to the farm, which was nice.

Very beautiful island even with lots of rebuilding to be done post hurricane. The first 2 excursions on my list we're cancelled due to the damage. Horseback riding was nice even if the advertisement was a little misleading. The "beach" portion of the ride was about 20 yards with a very short jaunt into the ocean; just long enough to get we're and have your photos taken.

Beautiful beaches, lots to see and do. The independent tour included both the Dutch and French sides of the island with a chance to have a Caribbean lunch. The tour meeting area was a challenge as it's located away from the other tour and taxi pick-up locations. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time by disembarking at least 30-45 minuets before your tour.
