We were just here in May so it was much the same. We did the Royal Fun Family Food tour which was actually pretty good, better than we expected and the food and drinks we made were all good. Would do it again or with others we may cruise with. Have been here several times and always looking for something new to do.

St Maarten is still showing signs of hurricane recovery but all that we encourted were very grateful to see tourists return. The open top bus tour was a great way to see this island.

Toured the port shops and took a cab into town to have some local cuisine and look around. They are rebuilding quickly, but still not at 100% following recent hurricanes.

This was by far our favorite port. If you come here and want a day of snorkeling and beach time, check out Soualiga Destinations (a.k.a. "Captain Bob's", http://soualigadestinations.com). They run a great daily tour and our boat captain Brett and first-mate Laura were fantastic / really friendly. Awesome excursion, amazing views of the water and island as you go from point to point.
