Go to the beach on the other side of the island. The shopping right at the port is also great!

We went to a private resort within walking distance of the port. Nice beaches and we were able to feed the flamingos.

Probably one of of best stops on this cruise. Lots to do. We booked an excursion with viator before the cruise. We visited the Aloe Vera Factory, the Casibari rock formations, the Natural Bridge, the Bushiribana gold mill ruins and the California Lighthouse. Our tour driver also took us through different areas of the island to show us how different people lived. I loved how the island can go from desert area to beach paradise within just a few kilometers of driving.

Perfect port for a beach day or city tour at your pace without having to book an excursion. I highly recommend a cheap city tour you can get right off the ship or taking a cab to Palm Beach

We have been here before so we took in some of the local sites & then had some Balashi beer & lunch at the 3 Brothers BBQ - very appetizing.

We did a bus excursion around the island. Our first stop was the Casibari Boulders. We enjoyed the unique boulder shapes and cactus, but only had about 20-30 minutes to explore. Our second stop was Alta Vista Chapel. It was nice, but not that exciting. Our third stop was the California Lighthouse. It was cool to see, but you had to pay to climb the stairs and there was wire around the top so you don't have an unobstructed view. Our last stop was Eagle Beach where the bus dropped us off for 2 hours and then picked us back up. There weren't many eating choices there and there was a lot of jet ski traffic and larger waves in the water. It was not one of our favorite beaches, even with the white sand and beautiful water.
