The Green Monkey encounter was a waste of time. We got there after they had been fed and did not see one. There were plenty of large turtles. Beautiful island.

The people are very friendly. The only downside to Barbados is that you cannot buy bottled water.

very pretty island - we went on Glory Tours and went to the Wildlife Center , Orchid place, and a few other sites. The wildlife center was cool - all the animals roam free so you might meet a peacock or giant turtle coming up the path you are on.

We went to Malibu Beach and toured the rum factory. This was a nice shore excursion, but there needed to be more time at the beach.

We did the "swim with the turtles" cruise, which was one of the highlights of the trip. The crew of the catamaran was top notch and very friendly. We also did a lot of fun tube rides as part of this trip...I would definitely do thiis again!

Take a trip to Huntes Gardens it's absolutely beautiful and only 30 minutes from the cruise port. Entry price is $15.00. My husband and I took a cab which was $80.00 and the driver waited 2 1/2 hours for us.
