I've always loved St. Kitts! This trip we went to Cockleshell Beach by individual taxi. There are several beach clubs here, mostly all are small individually ran and offer nice basic service with chairs to rent and a bar, some have food to order. At the far end is Reggae Beach Bar, has wifi, nice bar, and food to order. This is the largest and, of course, busiest. All the options are nice along Cockleshell Bay, nice soft sand with some black sand, and a great view of Nevis, too.

Walked the non-tourist streets, toured two churches and their cemeteries to get a feel for the Island's people and culture. Bought some local rum for 8 bucks a bottle that is very good.

Do the catamaran excursion! Everything about this is amazing from the boat, the staff, the lunch at the beach, the beach! It was by far our best experience of the cruise.

Be prepared to be hounded as soon as you step on the port by taxi drivers trying to take you everywhere. We finally gave in to a guy getting ready to take a group of people to Cockleshell Bay, which ended up being great! He was nice enough to give us a tour on the way to the beach, even pulling over to let us take pictures. Then we just arranged a time with our group for him to pick us back up. The beach was very nice. We bought 2 chairs and an umbrella for only $10!

Gorgeous landscape with the volcanic mountains. We toured using a local taxi driver, Adonis - very reliable and accommodating.
