Review summary

My favorite part of the cruise was getting off the boat!  This was our first cruise and I didn't enjoy the constant feeling of movement.  We had rough seas and wind the first three days and moving around the ship was very difficult (not the cruiseline's fault but I just did not enjoy this at all).  The ship is way too crowded for my comfort.  The crowds at the bars and pools and on the pool deck made it very difficult for me to enjoy myself.  It's absolutely ridiculous to have to get up at 7:00 a.m. to go scope out lounge chairs at the pool just so you can get a spot.  People put towels and a book, etc. on a chair and then leave it there for hours without being present at the pool.  Just not a fan of that type of behavior from people I have to share my vacation space with.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The Opus dining room was wonderful. The idea that they are serving almost 3,000 people, the service there was impeccable.

Onboard Activities

All of the entertainment was great. I was not able to enjoy the pool area due to the crowds and rude people hoarding lounge chairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

I can't find a single thing to criticize about our cabin. The size is perfect, the layout is great, nicely decorated and nice finishes on cabinets and counter tops. It was always spotless thanks to our amazing stateroom attendant.

Ship tip

If you like seeing where you are headed, the Sky Lounge is a must (unless you get motion sickness...then not a good idea). The Sunset Bar is a great place to hang out and watch the ship sail away from port and enjoy a little grassy knoll.

Didn't even get off the ship because it was storming. Didn't get to experience anything here.

Do the catamaran excursion! Everything about this is amazing from the boat, the staff, the lunch at the beach, the beach! It was by far our best experience of the cruise.

I do think the staff should be more aggressive about removing towels from chairs that people save. I have seen towels on chairs and 5 hours later no one had come to use the chairs. It is everyones complaint. Something needs to be done.

Cruising isn't for everyone, especially if you don't enjoy movement. Yes people who claim chairs without using them are very rude.
