Review summary

This cruise is action pack we will do it again in a heart beat. Staff friendly and the ship was clean. The destinations are a most really enjoy all the islands. We were in front of Hurricane Issac and then behind the Captain really knows this ship and the waters in the Caribbean it was steady and we never worried about the storm, we were really impressed how Carnival really took our safety 1st. The Cruise Director was also great.

Cabin Steward Bayon was the BEST EVER, gave us great recommendations for the ports of call.

Ship tip

This is action pack cruise, different comedians every 2 days 5 shows per day, the shows the Divas and the Latin shows where awesome as well, cruise director is everwhere high energy and fun. Destinations are a most if you have cruise out of Florida this are different ports. Will do again in a heart beat. LOVED THIS CRUISE. We had hurricane Issac in front of us and behind and the captain did an AMAZING JOB, a small ship but he keep us out of harm way and steady the entire week.

Old San Juan is a most. Just walk around eat and drink local. Try the MAVI and local street food you will love it. Buy from the local vendor they have the best prices, we bought a leather belt for $12.00, leather key chain with names engrave for $2.00. The people are friendly and the culture is rich with history.

Go to Boat Yard is the best place to go $20.00 each to enter. Taxi there is $5.00. Boat Yard is clean, friendly the beach is wonderful and it includes chair and umbrella, they have snorkeling , food and a bar, they take you back to the ship as well. Super nice place and free wi fi.

Castries, St. Lucia

We did the volcano and mud bath, you get a better price on the drive if you get a group of 6 the drive is long but if you get a good driver they stop and show you local vendor and history of the rainforest. Buy snacks along the way there is no food at the volcano and mud bath. This is an ALL DAY drive so be ready. Beautiful island locals are friendly.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

We went to Raggea beach travel in groups the ride there is $28.00 for 2people or $28.00 for 6+. The beach is public so is free there are a few vendor there nice place you can see the other island Nervis from the beach. The drive is pretty you see the Atlantic ocean on one side of the street and the Caribbean ocean on the other side.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Me and my wife been worrying about how much we'll actually like the ship, after going on a new boat but most importantly longest as the islands are good that would be enough.
