I went for the new ship but enjoyed all the ports. we rented a car in Tortola - which would have been a great deal for 5 people 85 for the day vs 16 pp to go to 1 beach. if they weren't doing road work and a dump truck side swiped the rental jeep.. = pain in the butt but still made it to 2 nice beaches. == use caution on the roads if driving - they use the sidewalks so move over they might not. Also if going over the island - big hills so down shift and stop at the top of the hill before beginning decent - our brakes were smoking... scary.

Hired a taxi over to Cane Garden. Waited for us to go to the Distillery. Then drove the other way back to the Botanical Gardens so we could see the whole island. Sadly, he did not come back to pick us up. But we were able to walk back to the ship. We stopped at The Pub for cool drinks, ac, food, and free WiFi. Highly recommend this as a DIY excursion.

The best port!! So incredibly beautiful. We hired a private, air conditioned, cab for 2.5 hours for $110. Well worth it. We got to drive all over the island. Visited Cane Garden Bay and a Rum distillery plus another bar at the top of a mountain. Was such a great time!
