Stay on the ship. Unless you have an excursion, the port is not yet built up.

We did the snorkeling excursion to the baths!!! Absolutely amazing!!! Make sure to have a go pro or water proof camera cause you swim to the beach and will leave all your belongings on the catamaran. Saw lots of fish and coral and explored some little caves!!!

This island is under a lot of development with houses and resorts being built all over the place. The beauty of it is the access to several different islands all accessible by an inexpensive ferry. Tortola itself is not very scenic yet, but in the years to come that will change. Many people decided to say on the ship because there is not much to see, but if you can see beyond the physical, then you'd enjoy it. We were lucky to have a group of people we knew on the island so we paid a small amount for a great tour. I hear that other tours are expensive.

Jumped into a tour van after leaving the port area. Charles was great! Took us all around the sights in just over an hour, we specifically asked to not stop at any tourist sales pushy places. Only sights and a couple photo stops. We knew we had a full beach day at Stir-Up Caye so didn’t book beach tour here but heard the beaches were beautiful from others.

We were a little confused since when we went to Grand Turk the beach was accessable at the port we docked then we we got to BVI you had to find a taxi to take you to the beach and shopping....We found our way around and came to one of the most beautiful beaches We had ever seen Cane Gardens!! WOW I took some breath taking pictures of this island there!!!
