we 'picked up' a great excursion and loved it! Have been to St Thomas several times previously, but our excursion added to the trip this time, significantly!

Too bad Megan's Bay has suffered terribly from the recent hurricanes. Lost many trees, beach is much larger than before, not as much shade. Still nice water, though.

Considering they were flooded two days before we got there from Karen they did a good job cleaning up downtown. First time docking at Crowne Bay. Easy access to downtown on shuttle.

This port is a lot of fun. We took and excursion to Maagen's Bay Beach for 2 hours, then went up to Mountaintop, and last we went into town for shopping. Got a delicious banana daiquiri at Mountaintop, as well as some nice souvenirs. Beach was nice, but got crowded quickly. (Go early) There was a steel drum band that played on the dock on the evening we left port. They were amazing. Overall we had a great day in St. Thomas.

Bought some jewelry and took the cable car to the top of the mountain. Had a couple of Bushwacker drinks at the top and they pack a pretty good punch!

We went to a very secluded beach on the other side of the island it was wonderful and peaceful not too many people I want to say it was called secret beach . Most scariest part was the bus ride with no seat belts

Get away from the ship and see the island, unless you like the effect of 6 cruise ships dumping their passengers in a small shopping area. Beautiful island.
