Beautiful NEW ship & Holland America is definitely a cruise for adults - you most likely wont see too many children. Top rate Service in all areas, could use a few more entertainment options for a 7 night cruise. Most drinks are UNDER the $9 price so while we had the $15 elite drink package there was really no need to do so. If you love Sushi - Tamarind is a MUST!

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Our best meal was at Tamarind - Sushi was Excellent & Unbelievably inexpensive. Main dining room was always good - a lot of options - always available were steaks & caesar salad!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pools were crowded & certain guests ALWAYS took the same comfortable areas. We enjoyed the Rock Club but night after night it became too familiar! Nice selection of bars - & great bar drink menus. Great comedians & the Humanity show was good.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Need more diverse entertainment - dance shows TOO formal. Comedian was Great - would have liked more comedy. Blues club was really good!

Ship tip
Book Open time dining - we never had a wait & were able to arrange dinner around the entertainment options
Beautiful beach right off of the ship - NO need to book an excursion to another beach. Margaritaville is right there & some small shops with really nice island goods. The female DJ at that beach, however, is pretty obnoxious while you are sun bathing.
HIGHLY recommend the History/Food Tour - everything is written in Spanish so most people would need a guide. This walking tour was great & finished by teaching everyone how to make a mojito as well as a traditional Puerto Rico dish in a local restaurant.
Beautiful but not enough beach chairs as there were 2 ships that day. Eat at the Lobster Bar - there were literally HUNDREDS of people in line for the lunch buffer. The LOW point of this cruise was the long hot line wait to get back to the ship.
