Did a snorkeling excursion to an animal sanctuary here last year with friends. My husband and I scuba dive so I wasn't sure if I would enjoy snorkeling. The only snorkeling that I've ever done hat was better was at great stirrup cay. There were so many species of fish, beautiful coral and lots of sea turtles to view. I would definitely recommend snorkeling here. After, we went to Megans Bay by cab and relaxed for the rest of the day. It was absolutely breathtaking!

Beautiful. Could easily walk into town from the cruise port 🛳 lots of restaurants and lots of shopping. Very friendly locals who do not hassle you or harass you.

It is sad to say that St. Thomas is still a mere shadow of what it was. We expected this, and were still dismayed ad the lack of items for purchase. We wanted to contribute by patronizing the local merchants but could not find places with inventory for sale. We normally dock at the Havensite pier where there are more ships and more shops, but we noticed passengers coming back from Havensite without bags of souvenirs, electronics, and liquor.

We booked an excursion here that took us to Magen’s Bay Beach. As soon as we got there it started pouring down rain. The bus driver let us off and he left. Be advised their is no shelter to get out of the rain here. We were all literally stuck in bathrooms for 2 solid hours trying to keep our personal items dry, especially the bags with our picture ID documents inside. This was not a normal rain, it downpoured for 2 straight hours. We did complain to Princess about the lack of shelter there and they said they were sorry but nothing they could do about it. They also said they had no clue there was no shelter there 😳. Shame on the for booking N excursion that they knew nothing about.

Took a narrated cab ride to the beach. Went around the island, stopped main points of interest, took great photos. We rented snorkles and spent a few hrs swimming. The Cab picked us up a returned us to the port. Cost was apporx. $30 for both of us.

The shops seemed a little over priced and disappointed that not really any local handmade things were available. We did the Kon Tiki boat all inclusive. Which i would probably not do again. But to each their own. Was not worth the money in my opinion.
