The island was a little run down but we did go to St John to visit Trunk Bay. It was less busy than the popular beach but was a beautiful beach with snorkeling opportunities at the nearby outcropping.

Went to Magens Bay. Nice swimming spot, good beach, no snorkeling. Town was OK for exploring, all kinds of jewelry and some good food.

Went scuba diving, had an amazing time. Would have liked more time in this port, by the time our excursion was done we had an hour to eat and shop and see the island.

We decided at the evening prior to arrival to do the Kon Tiki excursion. It wasn't that expensive and gave you a good experience for the money.
