Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food quality and service declined as the trip went on. We were a group of 6 and all requested anytime dining but 4 got scheduled at 8pm. We were at American Icon to regroup and thought it was set. When we returned to dinner we found out we were supposed to go to The Grande one floor up. The confusion was frustrating. One night we had 3 orders of steak diane but got served lamb by mistake. Another time they gave our table away twice in a row when helping people find tables during busy times I the Windjammer. After the 2nd time they didn't apologize but just suggested to out something on the table. Well I would if it was fcfs but when people are in charge of their sections then keep track. Dont half-ass service if you're going to provide it.

Onboard Activities

Hot tubs weren't that hot. We didn't do pools.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We saw Cats but the meet n greet was disorganized. No one seemed to know what was going on from guest service to door man to after show production staff.

Service and Staff

Room steward was excellent. Getting our group scheduled together for hibachi was easy at the restaurant but the wait on the phone for service was over 30 min before I gave up.

Ship tip

The pizza is good so expect to eat there when you're fed up with inclusive dining options and service. You're almost forced to do speciality dining.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

It was a little overcast but we had fun shopping and got some nice pics from the ship of the ocean.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

The island was a little run down but we did go to St John to visit Trunk Bay. It was less busy than the popular beach but was a beautiful beach with snorkeling opportunities at the nearby outcropping.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Best looking island of the 3 stops. Beautiful water and beaches. I saw maho beach where the planes land just above the crowds. The ATV tour was well worth it. We saw much of the island by road with one short off road bit. We stopped for Maho beach, a small merchant area near another marina, and on top of a little hill to get pics overlooking the bays and distant islands.

I had to "fix" my linked credit card twice. After my first visit to guest services earlier in the week, this shouldn't have been a repeat problem.
