We shouldn't be going here on holiday, these people's homes and lives have been destroyed and we are supposed to be here to party and have a good time. I ended up crying and praying with some of the locals. We should just donate to the island and let them be to heal. It's too depressing to look at when on holiday!

Area still in recovery from hurricanes of 2016-7, but serviceable. Pier area is in a mainly industrial zone with a short street with vendors selling mainly overpriced junk. Was a 20 minute bus ride to the other side of the island for our Glass Bottom Boat excursion- which was fun. Boat was not truly a 'glass bottom' but 2 large windows in the floor- but it served its purpose. Excursion was fun and we saw some beautiful scenery and wildlife(fish).

Worst excursion of my many cruise excursions. Carnival did listen to my complaints and made it right so congrats to Carnival and their people.

Unless you want to lay on the beach or visit Margaritaville, I didn't see much else to do in Freeport. ,

The port is in the middle of an industrial park. Everything to do is on the other side of the island.

We took a taxi to Taini beach and had a great time! Great food, strong drinks, fresh conch salad!
