Review summary

Was a lot of fun. I was a little apprehensive as it was our first cruise but we(daughter and I) had an enjoyable time. Ship staff were for the most part extremely friendly and hard working. Cherry on top was being addressed by you first name whenever interacting with the crew.

Ship was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cozy but comfortable. Eddie, our steward, did a bang up job keeping it clean and us smiling with his towel creations each morning.

Ports of call

Jacksonville, Florida

4 out of 5
Embarkation/disembarkation port. No excursions.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

4 out of 5
Area still in recovery from hurricanes of 2016-7, but serviceable. Pier area is in a mainly industrial zone with a short street with vendors selling mainly overpriced junk. Was a 20 minute bus ride to the other side of the island for our Glass Bottom Boat excursion- which was fun. Boat was not truly a 'glass bottom' but 2 large windows in the floor- but it served its purpose. Excursion was fun and we saw some beautiful scenery and wildlife(fish).

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
As with Freeport still some damage from the hurricanes. Did a walking tour, was fun and informative despite the wind, rain and cool temps. TIP: Do all your shopping on Bay St

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy.
