As a retired Navy sailor, this was a very enjoyable expirence on a first time luxury cruise.

All the food was great. The service was outstanding.

Onboard Activities

There were plenty of activities for all ages. We mostly just relaxed and enjoyed watching everyone have fun.

Entertainment

We really enjoyed the various entertainers out on deck and in the lounges. The cruise director, Chris "The Flying Scotsman" was the highlight of the entertainment activities.

Children's Programs

We did not have children with us, but, from what I saw all the kids were having a great time

Service and Staff

Excellent service all around. Our cabin steward Rustam was stellar. All the ship's crew were always cheerful and always acknowleged us with a greeting. If they knew our name, they used it. they always inquired if we needed any assistance regardless of the duty they were preforming at the moment.

Ship Quality

The ship was clean and well maintained. As with any large machine, there was some minor issues, but they were immediately address and corrected. An example I noted was that the security screen at the service desk got stuck in the down position. There must have been 8 or 9 crewmembers working to correct the problem, while other crewmembers were taking care of the passengers using portable tablets in the line.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was spotless. Size was fine. Cabin was very comfortable.

Ship tip

Relax, enjoy, and remember that the crew are not on vacation, but are working long hours on back to back cruises doing the best they can to make the passengers comfortable.
