After two long excursions at NB and Halifax, we completely skipped this excursion. We opted to walk out onto the dockside for a local lunch and some shopping.

Took a panoramic island tour with Co federation bridge. This is the worst tour I’ve ever gone on. The island tour consisted of riding around the island through potato fields, while the guide talked about potato farming. 10 minute stop at the bottom of the bridge for pictures and a stop at a gift shop.

Nothing to do here except see the fiddle. I guess ok, but if there were a place in Sydney that performed the Celtic dances and music, it would be worth getting off the ship. People need to be aware of this. It was good to offer a tour to Badeck, a gorgeous spot, but give an option to go to museum of Alexander Graham Bell or not. The town itself is nice. We had been here before so did not go now. During the Celtic Festival it is absolutely wonderful, so if you could include some spot for Celtic music for guests on tour, it is worth it. Maybe someone was performing at the museum. This is a unique cultural part of Canada and I am not sure people understood that. (Maybe add a Celtic group to perform on the ship one evening, maybe before leaving port.)
